Stacks

There are several stacks in the Central Library. Materials from the stacks can be requested from the main counter on the third floor.

You can enter the main stack room after completing paperwork.

How to Enter the Main Stack Room
1. Via the stacks counter on the fifth floor

Hours: 10:0019:00 (Mon.Sat.), regular school term

2. By completing paperwork at the third floor main counter (faculty and graduate students only)

Hours: 10:0021:50 (Mon.Sat.), regular school term

Branch Libraries

The Central Library has three branch libraries (Science and Engineering Branch Library, Literature, Arts, and Cultural Studies Branch Library, and Law School Branch Library). Each branch library holds a collection of specialized materials, which you can browse or check out.

Who Can Use the Branch Libraries
  • Current students registered at Kindai University
  • Kindai University alumni
Hours

The branch libraries are open from Monday to Saturday. They are closed on Sundays, public holidays, and on days the Central Library is closed. We will notify you on the Central Library website or on the calendar if the schedule changes due to extraordinary events.

  • Only Law School faculty members and students and other registered faculty members of the Faculty of Law may borrow materials.
