Application process for the purchase of desired books

This service means that you can request the Central Library to purchase books that are not currently owned by the Central Library. You hold a priority to borrow the books you request once they are purchased.
Only undergraduates, graduates, university faculty and staff members can apply for this service. However, university faculty and staff members are only allowed to request books recommended for student use.
The application period runs from April through the last day of the following February.

You can apply through “My Library”.
Please be reminded that before you apply, you should check through OPAC whether or not the Central Library does not own the books you would like to request.

Note that your requests are not always approved because the books purchased become a part of library collection.
Please refer to My Library for details.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to come to the main counter on the 3rd floor of the Central Library.
